Yellowstone National Park page 2

We saw a tremendous amount of wildlife in Yellowstone. It seemed like there were Elk and Buffalo around every bend in the road.

Buffalo by Old Faithful.	We often saw elk in the meadows. But they were often hard to see.
	Bear Jam! We came around a bend in the road and several cars were stopped blocking the road. We slowed to a stop and looked to see why they were stopped. This guy was the reason for the stoppage. It was a Bear Jam. The bear was only about 25 feet the other side of the road. Much closer than they tell you to go to a bear. We think he was a black bear.
We saw a very large herd of Buffalo in this Meadow.	We also saw some great waterfalls. This is upper Yellowstone falls on the Yellowstone River.
